Raina, the lost queen

 

Raina is the lost queen in Tabitha's world. She is the middle daughter of a foreign family married to the king, but she had gone missing back when the king was just a prince and she was just his princess. Only the king knows where her whereabouts are, but won't disclose where and why of the details.

Raina is actually living in the village unbeknownst to everyone there because they don't know what she looks like and she had gone many transformations in her look to disguise herself and even the king sometimes doesn't recognize her. She currently runs a crystals and glass shop as well as the tea room. She has these magical little creatures she calls tea cats. They appear as a fusion of mice and owls with a cat's personality. Raina has them help her organize the shop and prepare the tea rooms. These were originally fairy's pets and now are sold as familiars too for magic-born humans.

Raina's magical abilities are in shapeshifting as well as potion making, which is why she has a knack for tea making and evading detection that she is the long lost queen. On the side, she sometimes hire divinators who are commonly known as fortune tellers or tarot card readers in her tea room(s) upon demand in the season.
